Have you put any thought into your children’s Valentine’s this year?? My son is in preschool, and can’t write yet, so personalized handmade invites aren’t possible this year(though I just can’t wait for those days!).
J has a peanut allergy, and his school is nut free. Finding peanut free treats at a reasonable price is actually quite difficult, so “sweet treats” were out too. Besides, do we really need our three year olds filling up on junk?
My son loves music, singing and dancing. He is quite taken with his preschool teacher (and her guitar). When I walked past the loot bins at our party store, these kazoos
called tooted out to me! A few minutes with my friend, photoshop, and I whipped up some cute labels. Annnnd Done! Super Simple, and Super Cute!
When I posted these on my Facebook Page one mom was quick to reply “So cute but I’m so glad we are not getting your noisy valentine!”. You know what? I LOVE noisy kids! Noisy kids are active kids. Noisy kids are happy kids! Noisy kids are learning kids! But then again, that’s coming from a mom who’s children have a huge box of instruments, a drum set, and an amplified microphone. TOOT TOOT!!!!!!!
Happy Valentine’s Day ♥ I Hope it’s TOOTIN good!
Well, we had a BLAST this season, with our Elf on the Shelf. He arrived at our doorstep, on the First of December, with a beautiful letter from Santa… and filled our month with laughs and love.
On Christmas Eve he left a letter, jammies, and a Santa Key. What a wonderful tradition! We are going to miss Chippie!

One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish! Madeline is One, and thinks cake is Fun!
Before the cake smash, we had a lemonade stand for Madeline’s 1 year images.
Little slugger, Walker, celebrated his first birthday here in the studio today! He hit a home run (and by that I mean, smashed the bazooka out of that cake!)
Okay, these may be my most popular and FUN mini session to date. The littles LOVED showing off their super powers! Here are some of my favourite resulting comic strips!
These Tea Party Mini Sessions were a huge hit!! I had a ton of adorable littles in the studio, all dressed in their tea best. Here are a few of my favourite images from the week. I’m really looking forward to my next session of minis (Super Heros!!)
Lincoln enjoyed his first taste of sugar Happy Birthday sweet boy!
I had the most wonderful (and hilarious) evening photographing this fun family!
This family is super special to me. I shot their engagement, maternity and baby Tiffany’s newborn images. And now she’s already 6 months old. Time truly flies.
